Overcoming Adversity: Biopic on INK Fellow Srikanth draws critical acclaim

INK Talks aren’t only about mind-blowing ideas (although there are an incredible number of those!). They’re also about sparking connections that ripple outwards. Take Srikanth Bolla, CEO and Founder of Bollant Industries, and filmmaker Tushar Hiranandani.

This story began in 2015 when Ravi Mantha, a member of the INK Inner Circle, introduced Srikanth to the INK community. The compelling vision of this visually-impaired genius earned him a place in the INK Fellows Program. His poignant narrative during that year’s INK Conference moved many to tears and inspired countless others, including Tushar, who made a promise that day: to share Srikanth’s journey on the silver screen.

We are thrilled that Tushar’s dream has come to fruition with the biopic, “Srikanth”, set to premiere on May 10, 2024.

As is typical for the INK community, one talk often sparks a series of meaningful interactions. At INK 2018, during the “Billionaires of Moments” conference, Tony Fadell , inventor of the iPod, co-inventor of the iPhone, and founder of Nest Labs, was in attendance and requested a meeting with Srikanth. What started as a brief introduction extended into a half-day visit to Bollant, Srikanth’s enterprise in Hyderabad that manufactures eco-friendly disposable products. Imagine the impact of such an inspiring encounter!
